Visitor statistics
Numbers without a cookie banner.
How it counts
A rotating secret instead of an identifier.
A visitor is recognised for the day by hashing the request against a salt that rotates. The previous salt stays usable briefly so an evening session survives midnight, and then the ability to recognise that visitor is simply gone.
Stored on the visitorNothing.

What you see
Pages, sources, devices, and roughly where.
Aggregated into daily rollups rather than kept as a pile of raw events forever.
Consent, if you still need it
A banner is included, and it can actually switch things off.
Because the built-in statistics need no consent, the banner exists for everything else you might add. Its analytics category genuinely gates the script rather than decorating the page, and it ships with Dutch, English, German and French copy already written.
